~Your Special Event at the Elk River Guest Ranch~
The Elk River Guest Ranch is the perfect place for your family reunion, business retreat, wedding celebration or friend gathering. You can have full use of all 5 cabins and the ranch grounds if you book the entire ranch. The lodge has a small commercial kitchen that you may use or bring in your own caterer for an additional fee. There is a saloon/bar with an outside picnic/grilling area and fire pit (perfect for storytelling) Total number of nightly visitors could be anywhere up to 27 people depending on the type of accommodations the group requires. Your event could range from an intimate size, up to 400 people. Tent may be rented in Steamboat Springs, tables, and chairs on property. We carry a special use permit from Routt County to hold this type of event, so a contract is involved in the process.
Every gathering has different needs. Our desire is to make your special event memorable in every way. To craft your individual event contact us directly so we can answer your questions and decide how we might best meet your expectations.
Deposits
To reserve the ranch, a 50% deposit is due to confirm your dates. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. In addition, there is a $1000 damage deposit due by the date of the event.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the fact that special events and other individual bookings are usually made some time in advance and because we are holding dates in our reservation system for you, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. If notice of an event cancellation occurs more than 6 months prior to the event, the deposit less a $1500 cancellation fee will be refunded. If the event is canceled between 6 months and 90 days, all deposits will be forfeited If cancelation occurs within 90 days of the event, the entire rental amount will be forfeited.
